Murkowski: China is Not Meeting Its Seafood Import Commitments
During a Senate Appropriations CJS Subcommittee hearing, U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) questioned U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai on China not meeting its seafood import commitments per Chapter Six of Phase One of the Economic and Trade Agreement between the U.S. & China, which requires China to buy certain amounts of U.S. food products.
