Murkowski Welcomes New Staff Members to Wasilla and D.C. Offices

U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) announces the addition of new staff members to both her Washington, D.C., and Wasilla, Alaska, offices. The Senator welcomes Marie Cozzetti as her new Press Assistant in the D.C. office, and Easter Vito as her new Community Liaison Outreach Coordinator in Wasilla, providing services throughout the Mat-Su and Southcentral Alaska.

“I am excited to welcome Easter Vito and Marie Cozzetti to strengthen our already outstanding team. Their love for Alaska will be a great benefit to our office as they work to support constituents throughout,” said Senator Murkowski. “I’m proud to add these two individuals to my team and am confident that they will be a great benefit to Alaska.”

Joining Senator Murkowski’s Wasilla office:

Easter Vito joins Murkowski’s team as the new Community Liaison Outreach Coordinator one will be based in Wasilla, Alaska. Easter will be conducting outreach work with underserved communities on the road system. She joins the office after a distinguished 20+ year career in the U.S. Air Force. While in the military, she served as a Program Manager where she led the Command Control System’s upgrade by validating and assessing five new programs to help increase operations integration in the Pacific region. While serving as a Personnel Manager, she served as the Enlisted Advisor to the Command and Division Chiefs providing updates and recommendations on Personnel readiness, morale, records, and quality of life for over 90 military personnel. Easter holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Touro University Worldwide.

Joining Senator Murkowski’s D.C. office:

Marie E. Cozzetti joins Murkowski’s team as a Press Assistant. Marie previously served as Membership Coordinator for the National American Indian Housing Council (NAIHC) in Washington, D.C. An Alaskan Native, Marie was born and raised in Anchorage, and she is a member of the Alakunuk Tribe. Marie held a variety of marketing, and sales positions before joining NAIHC in 2021. She specializes in initiating and developing stakeholder relationships, investigative research, client satisfaction, account management, and social media marketing. Marie holds a bachelor’s degree in Humanities from the University of Maryland.
