Murkowski Welcomes Jenna Mason to Communications Team

Senator: Transplanted Alaskan Will Keep Alaskans Plugged In

Senator Lisa Murkowski today announced Jenna Mason has joined her Washington, DC office as her new Press Assistant.

“Jenna will be a tremendous asset to my communications team,” Murkowski said, “As an Alaskan transplanted to the East Coast, she brings a unique perspective to my D.C. staff, and will help keep Alaskans up-to-date on the political issues that affect our state.  The federal government has an oversized presence in our state, and Alaskans’ interest in the federal government is understandably high.”

Ms. Mason graduated last month from the University of Maryland, College Park with a Bachelor of Arts in government and politics. Jenna attended South Anchorage High School and has previous experience interning in Mayor Dan Sullivan’s office for two summers as Assistant to the Communications Director. She joined Senator Murkowski’s office in September 2013 as a college intern and began working part-time as Staff Assistant in March 2014.
