Murkowski Votes to Confirm Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme Court

Today U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK) released the following statement to cast her vote in support of Judge Neil Gorsuch to be the next Associate Justice of the Supreme Court:
“I was pleased that today the U.S. Senate has moved to fill Scalia’s seat on the U.S. Supreme Court with bipartisan support for Judge Neil Gorsuch, an imminently qualified jurist. Judge Gorsuch checks the box on every measure of what I'm looking for in a Supreme Court nominee: intellectual capacity, experience, independence, integrity. He brings a much-needed western perspective to the Supreme Court, especially when it comes to public lands cases, regulatory overreach, and federal Indian law. I congratulate Judge Gorsuch and his family on this tremendous accomplishment.”
