Murkowski Recognized for Award-Winning Websites

Senator Wins Gold Mouse Award for Personal and Energy “One-Stop Shops”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Lisa Murkowski is being recognized this year for having two of the best websites in the U.S. Senate – both her personal office’s website and the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee website, where she is the ranking Republican.

“I am proud that my web presence is being recognized as a high quality service for my Alaskan constituents – keeping them connected across the 4,000 miles and four time zones between home and DC,” said Murkowski.  “Whether it’s utilizing the website as a news source during the recent blizzard, an easy gateway for constituent communications, or for bringing important footage and information from Capitol Hill – we want to be one-stop shops for Alaskans.”

Since 2001, the Congressional Management Foundation (CMF) has issued Congress Gold Mouse Awards every two years to members of Congress with the best websites.  For more information about the 112th Congressional Gold Mouse awards click here.
