Capitol Hill Chooses Respect in Washington, DC

Murkowski, Young Staff Hold March in Nation’s Capital

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Though Alaska’s Washington, D.C. delegation is back home for the Easter work period, Alaskans on Capitol Hill held a rally today to participate in Alaska Governor Sean Parnell’s “Choose Respect” movement along with over a hundred other communities within the state.

Where Murkowski and Young will be today:

  • Senator Lisa Murkowski will be participating in the Choose Respect event at Noon in Anchorage on the Delaney Park Strip, alongside Lt. Governor Mead Treadwell.
  • Congressman Don Young will be participating in the Choose Respect event at Noon in Juneau, alongside Department of Natural Resources Commissioner Dan Sullivan.
