Murkowski Announces Alaska Mobile Office Stops
Senator’s Staff Meeting with Alaskans to Listen to Concerns, Increase Availability
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Lisa Murkowski today announced her staff will visit select communities throughout Interior, Southcentral, and Southeast Alaska during the month of August in an effort to advance her engagement efforts and expand constituent outreach and response across the state.
During mobile office hours members of Senator Murkowski’s staff will meet with constituents and community leaders to collect casework requests and listen to concerns about issues and policies related to the federal government. All information gathered by staff will be directed to Senator Murkowski and to appropriate federal agencies to resolve concerns raised by Alaskans.

Mobile office meetings will begin in the Interior communities of Salcha and Nenana on August 6th and 7th. Murkowski staff representatives will continue meetings in Valdez, Cordova, Whittier, Hope, Moose Pass, Seward, Ninilchik, and Homer during the dates of August 12-16, 2013. Her team will also visit Gustavus, Angoon, Hoonah, Kake, and Haines from August 24-28th.
Members of Senator Murkowski’s staff will also be holding additional mobile office hours at the Tanana Valley State Fair in Fairbanks from August 2-11, 2013, and the Alaska State Fair in Palmer from August 22nd –September 2, 2013.
