Dear Alaskan,

It’s been a busy couple of months as I’ve worked to write, negotiate, and advance the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that was signed into law; met with Alaskans both in the state and in Washington, DC; and participated in an international Arctic conference and COP26, a global climate conference, where I represented Alaskans’ views on issues in discussions with world leaders.

I encourage us all to show kindness and respect to each other, particularly our healthcare workers, as we work together to put an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.

I’m proud to announce the Department of Defense selected Anchorage as the location for the Center.

I’m seeking a permanent exemption from the Passenger Vessel Services Act for cruises between any U.S. port and Alaska.
